


Past Projects -
I work throughout the North West with children of all ages in both school and community settings. These varied workshops include environmental and art activities using sustainable and recycled materials wherever possible.

Chinese New Year
I worked with the children to make two 30ft long traditional style Chinese Dragons which formed the focal point of an exciting procession around the schools garden which were beautifully lit with dozens of lanterns, also made in our sessions.

As part of a long term project I has been working with Cheetham School to re-
Langdale Primary School, Cumbria
Collage, snake sticks and spin pictures are just some of the inspiring activities that the children of Langdale school have taken part in. Using the work of artists Kurt Schwitters and Damien Hurst the children have worked in the grounds of Cylinders estate to create many pieces (this project in conjunction with Littoral Arts Trust).

Herbert and Elizabeth – willow sculpture
Following a visit to school and discussions with year 5 children the class was left
to research children's lives in 1826, a pertinent year for this location as a nearby
site was the scene of mill riots which led to the deaths of local mill-
Together the children and myself wove the figures which they named Herbert and Elizabeth, based on names in the census of that time.
